Gypsea merges stylistic
influences as diverse as techno, Latin, jazz, funk, and world music.
Synthesizers, sequencers, guitars, keyboards, pvc instruments, percussion,
brass instruments, and even a theremin are utilized to create a vast
amount of textures and timbres. Musical influences of the ensemble include
Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, Stomp, The Heiroglyphics Ensemble,
Steve Coleman, and Ruben Blades, among others.
