Late-May 2005 Newsletter

"I love deadlines.
I like the whooshing sound they make
as they fly by. "

- Douglas Adams

Yes adoring fans, I'm over three weeks late with this month's newsletter - please stop sending the hate mail! I'll keep this one pretty short, since I have to write another next week.

"Peter & the Wolf" is still the headline of the day around here. The production is on schedule with only a few remaining details to firm up: a few more narrator rehearsals, some lighting work, and some reception planning, and we're a "go" - June 4th, here we come!
We're all very excited about it and we hope that you can attend the premier. Here are those details again:

Date: Saturday, June 4th
Time: 2pm
Place: Vanguard Theatre at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Point Loma.
Admission: FREE

In other band news, expect some changes to the website in the next month. Mostly, some "trimming of the fat", to make the site less bulky, more focused and easier to navigate. Also, we are applying for non-profit status as an educational outreach organization. This is a pretty long and complicated process, but we should be official in early 2006 - stay tuned for updates!

Don't Panic!
