"Blast this Christmas music ! Its joyful and triumphant."
- Grinch

And blast it, we will! Christmastime has long been a cherished time of year for us. Holiday music represents a significant portion of our original repertoire, as is demonstrated in our first CD "Jingle Brass." And since the recording of that album, we've arranged or acquired many new carols and holiday favorites, the latest of which being "Mr. Snowmiser," a catchy little tune from that lovable (if a bit obscure) Rankin/Bass stop-motion Christmas special "The Year Without a Santa Claus". Enough new Christmas stuff for a second album, you ask? Perhaps - stay tuned! Jingle Brass, the ensemble, can be heard and seen at a few different locations this season. See the concerts page for details. The shopping cart is now functional, thanks to PayPal - our CD "Jingle Brass" makes the perfect stocking stuffer!

On a personal note, I will be performing in Disney's "Candlelight Procession" this year on the evenings of December 4th and 5th; its a 21-year tradition at the Anaheim theme park, and one not to be missed by music-lovers and Christmas enthusiasts. I'll be among seven other fanfare trumpeters standing atop the main street train station, tooting our horns over a symphony orchestra and 700 voice choir. Marie Osmond is the guest narrator. You won't find much on the web in the way of promotion for this event - its one of those well kept local secret traditions. Hope to see you there!

Merry Christmas!

- Karl Soukup, Proprietor
